V6 farting when hot
Dunno whether this is worthwhile posting or not, but thought I'd let it be known as it might help someone.
My TS 3 ltr manual was missing under load, but only when hot.
I checked all the usual suspects, distributor cap, plugs and leads, air filter, fuel filter ....
could not fault the thing.
I began to suspect an injector or maybe the coil .... to this end I pulled the connector off the coil ..... found it corroded. Probably because I regularly clean the engine bay!
Anyway, a squirt of Innox ... job done, it goes like the clappers now. 5.5K rpm no problems, no farting.
